Empress of heaven, Mother Earth, clothed in the sun with the moon beneath her feet, stands in the Mystery of the Universe.
This pendant is part of the first edition I Love You collection designed by German-Irish sculptor Imogen Stuart – all inspired by mythology and themes of love and compassion.
Created with relief sculpture technique and inscribed on the back of the pendant with the maker’s mark. The hand-carved and uneven finish is in the idiosyncratic style of Imogen Stuart, whose work pays homage to German Expressionism, Bavarian Rococo churches, Egyptian sculpture and primitive art.
