AEQUOREA is a Dublin-based gallery specialising in artist jewellery designed by both leading modern masters of the 21st century and emerging international talent. Our showcase of wearable works of art have been made in collaboration with the artists – the process is slow and the result is striking. Our production is local and we use recycled and responsibly-sourced materials. We continuously strive to implement practices that further these values.
MATERIALS
We design each of our collections with the intention of creating pieces that can be passed down through generations, with minimal waste and minimal carbon footprint.
Our jewelry is made with recycled and responsibly-sourced sterling silver and gold. We aim to minimize waste in the production of our pieces, and therefore, many of our pieces are made to order.
PRODUCTION
Our jewellery is all designed by working artists and produced with expertise in traditional methods of crafting jewellery by hand.
We work with responsible manufacturing partners and suppliers, and we produce our pieces locally where possible. We value local production both because supporting our community is important to us and because it can reduce waste and the use of resources.
